Canadian Government invests $9.6m in legume research

Canada's  federal agriculture minister (Gerry Ritz) announced the Government of Canada's $8.3 million investment into the grain-legume research, innovation and market development to improve productivity and gain access to new markets. Mr Ritz acknowledged the tremendous potential of the investment to deliver commercial, environmental and health benefits that legumes have to offer domestically and internationally.
